Become a Member
Step One:
To become a member of WAI SD, you first need to join Women in Aviation International (WAI)
Visit the wai.org membership page for information on joining Women in Aviation International. Please list “San Diego Chapter #61” as your chapter affiliation. Make note of your corporate membership number (you will need it when you pay your San Diego chapter dues)
**By selecting auto renewal this is only for your international membership.
Step Two:
Then get your WAI San Diego Membership
After you become a WAI member, you will need to pay chapter dues to officially join the San Diego chapter. When you make a payment, include your corporate WAI membership number and select ‘Other’ to remove tipping option.
**Local chapter has to be manually renewed.

junior Membership
Free membership for Junior Members (5-15).
To register as a Junior WAI Member, you must include your birthday and the name of the school you are currently attending in your membership application.
Please note that your membership will expire 60 days after your 16th birthday, at which time we hope you will upgrade your membership to a Student Membership or Individual Membership.
Please be aware that Junior Membership are not eligible to apply for WAI scholarships.

Student Membership
Full-time students who are interested in aviation.
Students who are in high school (16-18 years old), or students of any enrolled full time in college, university or other vocational program (including full-time enrollment in Part 141 schools) register as a Junior WAI Member, you must include the name of the school.
Please note that there will be a verification process to ensure you meet the requirements for the Student Membership. If you have any questions please contact membership@waisandiego.org.
