Women in Aviation San Diego is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of men and women working to increase female participation in aviation and aerospace. We are a Women in Aviation International Chapter that’s located in San Diego, California.
If you’re passionate about inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals, you have the option to join our Outreach Committee to help represent WAISD in the community! This committee supports our presence at local schools, scout troops, museums, and aviation events by sharing our mission and engaging with future aviators. It's a low-commitment opportunity—you’ll be added to our outreach list and contacted when volunteer opportunities arise, with the flexibility to participate in events that fit your schedule and interests.
Email the chapter with the event title, description, date, time, location, number of volunteers needed, any information on the audience (students ages/grades, or adults, etc.), topics of interest, and any other details that would help the chapter to locate the best volunteer(s) to attend.
